Welcome!
This course began as a pilot program in 2023 financed by the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing. We built it for people who are new to technology and need an extra layer of support to learn important digital skills.
Many of the skills you'll learn are based on a 9th Generation Apple iPad. But, these lessons can apply to smartphones, computers, laptops, tablets, and other devices.
This program is:
- Self-paced. You move through the lessons at your own speed.
- Coach-guided. The best way to move through the lessons is with the support of a Digital Literacy Coach.
If you don't have a digital literacy coach yet, you can still get a lot out of this program on your own.
Where to Start?
As you look through this program you'll see three different areas: Prep Courses, Required Courses, and Elective Courses. Depending on your situation you could start with Prep courses or skip straight to Required.
Prep Courses
Some of the information in the Prep Courses of this program is specific to pilot program participants. You might find after reviewing these first courses that you can skip straight to the required section of the program.
Required Courses
These courses are full of great information and learning activities to get you started as a person who is new to technology.
Elective Courses
At this time (April 2024) Elective Courses are under development. An announcement will be made when this area of the program is complete.
